<p style="text-align: justify;">Nuestra forma de trabajar ha cambiado, tanto como la forma de comunicarnos, de interactuar con nuestro banco o de ver la televisión en casa. Todo cambia, impulsado por un motor global, innovador y transformador: la tecnología. Vivimos en un mundo en el que tenemos acceso a todo lo que necesitamos desde un teléfono móvil, tanto en el ámbito profesional como en el personal. Con un smartphone podemos realizar todas nuestras operaciones financieras en una app, acceder a contenidos audiovisuales a la carta en una Smart TV o imprimir a distancia. Este proceso, como cualquier otro que implica cambios, supone un periodo de adaptación y aprendizaje, lo que en última instancia significa un cambio cultural.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Es muy frecuente hablar de transformación digital, todas las empresas tecnológicas lo hacemos para proponer a nuestros clientes soluciones que les ayuden en este camino. Sin embargo, un aspecto fundamental para que esta transformación tenga éxito es la cultura de empresa, que no puede permanecer inmóvil mientras todo evoluciona a su alrededor. Cuando tengo ocasión de intercambiar ideas con otros directivos de importantes empresas, la mayoría coincidimos en destacar que el principal reto de las organizaciones es ser conscientes de que deben dejar atrás un modelo organizativo o una cultura que no les deja ser más ágiles.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Los clientes son cada día más exigentes, están mejor informados y demandan rapidez, la misma que encuentran en las redes sociales y en las aplicaciones de mensajería instantánea. Existen compañías muy importantes, con mucho peso en el mercado, que no tienen el futuro garantizado ya que se trata de compañías muy jerarquizadas, que no son ágiles y para las que asimilar cualquier imprevisto les supone un enorme esfuerzo.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Solo las empresas que sean rápidas sobrevivirán y para todas ellas la transformación digital es ineludible. El reto es hacer partícipes de este cambio a todas las personas que conforman la empresa porque la evolución tecnológica no es un patrimonio exclusivo de los nativos digitales. Desde mi punto de vista, la empresa debe ser un agente de cambio y expandir la innovación mediante la formación como un valor añadido para cada trabajador.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Facilitadores e inhibidores</strong></p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Según los datos de un estudio entre más de 200 empresas llevado a cabo por el Think Tank Tecnología y Excelencia del Club Excelencia en Gestión (CEG), el 77% de las organizaciones respondieron que más de dos tercios de las actividades relevantes de la empresa dependen de la tecnología. Asimismo, el 95% sostiene que la tecnología proporciona una clara ventaja diferencial y el 80% ha llegado a reflexionar sobre el impacto de la tecnología en su negocio. Sin embargo, solamente el 50% de las organizaciones que participaron en el estudio asegura estar aprovechando las capacidades que la digitalización les brinda actualmente.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">¿Por qué sucede esto? Porque el cambio cultural no es trivial. Es uno de los obstáculos principales que se encuentra el 40 por ciento de los encuestados en lo que respecta a implantación de las tecnologías. Los costes asociados y la seguridad son otros de los inhibidores más comunes. Sin embargo, este hecho contrasta con lo que los directivos han podido percibir como facilitadores para este cambio: Claridad estratégica (+14%) y disponibilidad de tecnologías (+10%). Las habilidades necesarias para competir en este nuevo entorno serán distintas de las que tienen ahora muchos de los trabajadores. Las empresas deberán incorporar nuevos recursos desarrollando equipos multidisciplinares que combinen estas habilidades tecnológicas con un profundo conocimiento funcional y técnico del negocio.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">La madurez tecnológica está directamente relacionada con una economía madura y competitiva. Tal y como destaca el estudio del citado Think Tank, el impacto de la transformación digital en la economía (contemplando los sectores de Industria, Energía, Salud, Infraestructuras, Transporte, Servicios Financieros, Telecomunicaciones y Turismo) y considerando su aportación al Producto Interior Bruto, madurez digital (a nivel sectorial y país) y las palancas de productividad, en valor añadido bruto puede ascender a 120.000 millones de euros para el año 2025.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>No hay transformación sin gestión eficiente</strong></p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Si pensamos en empresas que han sabido evolucionar su negocio para adaptarse a las nuevas necesidades del mercado, Xerox es uno de los mejores ejemplos. Xerox fabrica equipos de impresión, pero también ayuda a sus clientes a imprimir menos porque una gestión documental eficiente garantiza –además de importantes ahorros– que la información del negocio sea accesible de forma flexible y segura. No importa si el formato de los documentos es digital, en papel o en ambos porque disponemos de soluciones y servicios que ayudan a maximizar el valor de la información al mismo tiempo que optimizan los procesos de gestión documental.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Nuestro objetivo es ayudar a los clientes que están abordando su transformación digital o incluso su internacionalización, de manera que acaben optimizando sus procesos y reduzcan su partida de gasto. Otro aspecto a considerar es que, al optimizar la gestión documental de forma estratégica, los responsables de TI ahorran un tiempo muy valioso que de lo contrario malgastarían resolviendo problemas menores.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">En mi opinión, si trabajas en una empresa que persigue la excelencia, tienes la capacidad de añadir valor constantemente a tus clientes comprendiendo, anticipando y satisfaciendo sus necesidades, expectativas y oportunidades. La tecnología permite mejorar los productos y servicios ofrecidos, la comunicación y la implicación, el conocimiento del cliente y la captación de sus necesidades y expectativas con herramientas y tecnologías como Big data/analytics, movilidad, geolocalización, Internet de las Cosas, impresión inteligente, drones, realidad virtual, etc. que generarán tantas oportunidades como nuevos nichos de aprendizaje.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">En definitiva, las habilidades necesarias para competir en este nuevo entorno serán distintas de las que tienen ahora muchos de los trabajadores. En este sentido, las empresas deberán incorporar nuevos recursos desarrollando equipos multidisciplinares que combinen las habilidades tecnológicas con un conocimiento más profundo del negocio.</p>\n
