<p style="text-align: justify;">Del 19 al 23 de octubre ha formado a 30 responsables municipales de cinco países latinoamericanos. La primera promoción de esta 'Escuela de Gestión Municipal Excelente' parte hacia sus países con una mochila cargada con los modelos y prácticas más exitosas de la gestión pública de Alcobendas, una nueva forma de entender la cooperación al desarrollo y el compromiso solidario de la ciudad. “Sois desde ahora nuestros nuevos amigos y siempre estaremos unidos, estamos como alcaldes que somos comprometidos en el trabajo constante para que nuestra ciudad sea mejor y nuestros vecinos puedan ver resueltos sus problemas, con el objetivo del servicio a los demás” ha manifestado el alcalde de Alcobendas, Ignacio García de Vinuesa, durante la clausura de la escuela.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Los 30 alumnos han recibido de manos del alcalde y de la concejal de Cooperación, Marifé Palacio, un diploma que acredita su participación en la primera promoción de la 'Escuela de Gestión Municipal Excelente', bajo la atenta mirada de algunos representantes de las embajadas de Chile, Ecuador y El Salvador. Precisamente en nombre de todos, el embajador de El Salvador, Jorge Alberto Palencia, con 15 alumnos en esta primera promoción, ha destacado que la cooperación en Alcobendas va mucho más allá del 0,7%: “Ese 0,7% se cumple en muchos municipios pero el cariño que le pone Alcobendas a la cooperación es bastante diferente, hay mucho cariño y afecto para nuestros pueblos, y eso se agradece en el alma”.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Los 30 alumnos de esta primera promoción han recibido enseñanza presencial a cargo de los formadores -los técnicos municipales-, que se combinará en el futuro con consultas on line, abriéndose un foro de debate con el fin de potenciar el intercambio de experiencias y conocimientos entre los gestores municipales y resolver dudas. Po esta razón, la concejal de Cooperación, Marifé Palacio, ha destacado en la clausura que “entiendo y espero que ustedes también lo hagan, que esto no es un punto y final, sino a un punto y seguido, ya que podrán continuar en el futuro con la colaboración de los técnicos municipales, a los que agradezco su colaboración y dedicación para con esta escuela”.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">En nombre de los 30 alumnos de esta primera promoción de la escuela, el alcalde de Pudahuel, en Chile, Johnny Carrasco, ha señalado que “si queremos resultados distintos en nuestros municipios, tendremos que innovar y no seguir haciendo lo mismo, arriesgar y apostar por un gobierno local real para todos nuestros vecinos”.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">La primera promoción de esta 'Escuela de Gestión Municipal Excelente' ha reunido a 30 personas: 15 de El Salvador, 9 de Chile, 3 de Perú, 2 de Ecuador y 1 de Bolivia. 21 de ellos han recibido una beca patrocinada por la Fundacion Humana Pueblo para el Pueblo, por lo que su coordinador general, Jesper Wohlert, ha recibido un diploma de agradecimiento.</p>\n
