<p style="text-align: justify;">BT ha anunciado dos nuevos contratos con la Comisión Europea para ofrecer servicios cloud públicos y privados en 52 de las principales instituciones, agencias y organismos europeos, entre los que se incluyen el Parlamento Europeo, el Consejo Europeo y la Agencia de Defensa Europea. Ambos contratos marco tienen una duración de cuatro años y un valor en conjunto de más de 24 millones de euros. Tras la ejecución de los contratos marco, BT implementará los servicios cloud privados contratados y será en uno de los cinco proveedores que competirán para los proyectos de cloud pública.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Estos hacen el tercer y cuarto contratos marco que la Comisión Europea ha adjudicado a BT en 2015, todos ellos en procedimientos de licitación pública.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">La plataforma de tecnología subyacente y personalizada cumple los estrictos requisitos de la UE en términos de cumplimiento normativo, seguridad y privacidad. Combina la velocidad y la agilidad de las nubes públicas con el control y la seguridad de las nubes privadas.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Los servicios estarán hospedados en varios centros de datos seguros y geográficamente distribuidos dentro de la Unión Europea, asegurando una alta resistencia y la garantía de que todos los datos de los clientes se mantendrán dentro de la UE. Serán integrados y gestionados desde BTS Computer System Management (CMS) - un portal único y federado que entrega eficientemente los servicios de TI que los clientes necesitan desde cualquier lugar del mundo. Descrito por los analistas como el "ingrediente secreto" de BT, muestra cómo BT hace realidad su visión Cloud of Clouds anunciada el año pasado.</p>\n

Ese contrato incluye servicios de voz para 21 de las principales instituciones, agencias y organismos europeos. Éste, a su vez, siguió a otro gran contrato marco firmado en marzo de 2015 - por un valor máximo de 55,7 millones de euros en cinco años - para facilitar acceso a Internet dedicado para las principales instituciones, agencias y organismos europeos de los 28 estados miembros.</p>\n
