<p style="text-align: justify;">Grandes compañías como IBM, Schindler o BT están abordando los cambios tecnológicos convencidas de su poder transformador y de las oportunidades que el nuevo paradigma ofrece no solo a los sectores en los que operan, sino al conjunto de la economía y la sociedad.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Estas tres empresas han compartido con Europa Press sus expectativas y planteamientos al afrontar los cambios tecnológicos en los que se encuentran inmersas, y lo hacen con motivo de la celebración el próximo 15 de marzo en Madrid del XXIV Foro Anual del Club Excelencia en Gestión, en el que estarán presentes y debatirán sobre esta cuestión.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">El director general de Schindler Iberia, Julio Arce, considera que las nuevas tecnologías permiten a su empresa mejorar el servicio al cliente y ofrecerlo de forma más "personalizada, con mayor rapidez de respuesta y con mejor calidad". La tecnología también ayuda en las tareas de los empleados y en aspectos como la mejora en la eficiencia y ahorra de energía.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Arce defiende una visión proactiva frente a los cambios. "La tecnología avanza a pasos agigantados, por lo que debemos ir siempre un paso más allá para evitar la obsolescencia". El directivo cita varias innovaciones ya en marcha, que van desde la digitalización dentro de las cabinas hasta el desarrollo de 'apps' para reducir tiempos de espera, optimizar la gestión del tráfico o mejorar la seguridad.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Para el director general de Schindler Iberia, resulta de "vital importancia" que las empresas dispongan de una estrategia definida para abordar estos cambios, que se producen "de forma continua en todos los ámbitos". En lo referido al empleo, considera necesario "entender el impacto que tiene la tecnología", de modo que las empresas "deban ser capaces de ajustarse a estos cambios" si no quieren correr el riesgo de "quedarse fuera del mercado".</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>A POR LA "COMPUTACIÓN COGNITIVA"</strong></p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">El director de Comunicación Externa de IBM, Alfonso González Herrero, cita la "computación cognitiva", esto es, el "nuevo espacio de los datos y el conocimiento a través del autoaprendizaje de las máquinas", como uno de los grandes frentes del cambio que se avecina. Las tecnologías que están por llegar "ya no se programan, sino que aprenden de la experiencia" y "entienden el lenguaje natural de las personas".</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Para afrontar la "nueva era" tecnológica, González ve necesario que las empresas "acometan su transformación digital" e incorporen a su cadena de valor las aportaciones de los dispositivos móviles inteligentes, Internet, las redes sociales o el 'Internet de las cosas'. En esta transformación, la inversión en I+D+i se presenta a su juicio como un "factor fundamental".</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">La estrategia de IBM para abordar los cambios pasa por ampliar sus capacidades en ámbitos como el big data, la nube, 'Internet de las cosas', el 'social business', la movilidad o la seguridad. Estos pilares ya registraron un aumento del 26% el año pasado y suponen cerca del 35% del negocio de IBM.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Al ser preguntado por cómo percibe su empresa dentro de diez años, el responsable de Comunicación de la multinacional alude a la consolidación de las "piezas necesarias" para IBM y recuerda algunos objetivos para este mismo año: "Continuaremos con nuestra política de invertir el 6% de nuestros ingresos en I+D+i que nos ha llevado otro año más a liderar el 'ranking' de registro de patentes en 2015", como lleva haciendo la empresa 23 años.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>EN BT "SOMOS RESPONSABLES DE QUE EL CAMBIO SUCEDA"</strong></p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">El director de Marketing de BT, Miguel de Ramón, se muestra concienciado no solo con el cambio tecnológico, sino con el papel de su empresa como propiciadora del mismo. "En BT tenemos la responsabilidad de que los cambios sucedan. Trabajamos cada día para innovar y hacer que la tcnología ayude a empresas de todo el mundo a mejorar la relación con sus clientes", asegura.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">BT opera en un sector que es en sí "motor del cambio". Pese a ello, De Ramón cita retos concretos y alude a ámbitos de interés como la movilidad, que "confiere múltiples facilidades para desarrollar nuevas formas de trabajar casi desde cualquier lugar en el que se tenga acceso a una red fija o móvil".</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">En lo referido al empleo, el sector de las TIC, en el que se encuentra BT, puede considerarse "uno más afortunados", a la vista de que sus cerca de 20.000 empresas emplean a unos 400.000 trabajadores. "Y la demanda continúa creciendo porque la transformación tecnológica es imparable y demanda cada vez más profesionales cualificados", señala.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">La estrategia de BT para afrontar los cambios se basa en la fortaleza de su red, que está orientada a satisfacer las necesidades de los clientes, que exigen "de manera creciente" estar siempre operativos, reducir sus costese integrar distintas plataformas cloud gestionando la complejidad que ello supone, todo ello con las máximas garantías de seguridad. "Es lo que llamamos Cloud of Clouds, y es nuestra estrategia ante la creciente tendencia de mover servicios a la nube", señala.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">"Aprovechar los beneficios de la nube significa asociar la evolución del negocio al uso de la tecnología, de modo que si se está expandiendo el negocio en un mercado, no sea preciso hacer inversiones tecnológicas sino que se pueda disfrutar de aplicaciones o incluso de infraestructuras en modo de servicio. Se trata de optimizar la manera en la que se trabaja flexibilizando la estructura de costes. Esta aproximación, totalmente pionera en el mercado, es una muestra más de nuestro carácter innovador", afirma el directivo.</p>\n
