<p>Un aspecto importante cuando has salido de la adolescencia y primera juventud es que no tienes que “darte pote”, ni importancia. Ya tienes suficiente seguridad y puedes hablar para que todos te entiendan, sin jergas. Y, llegados a esta edad, eso nos hemos propuesto en el Club, hablar y explicarnos con la <strong>máxima sencillez</strong>.</p>\r\n
\r\n
<p>Este nivel de madurez nos da una perspectiva y experiencia acumulada muy útil para ayudar y <strong>acompañar a organizaciones y empresas,</strong> de todo tipo, en su transformación y adaptación a los nuevos tiempos.</p>\r\n
\r\n
<p>Y aprovecho aquí y ahora para hacer mención a lo que hoy se denomina “<strong>generación silver</strong>”. Porque son una tendencia social notable a la que hay que considerar desde las organizaciones, no sólo por su capacidad de consumo, sino porque la mayoría de ellos han experimentado el cambio y la transformación en primera persona y están, por tanto, mejor pertrechados que aquellos que por su inexperiencia o afán academicista buscan promover cambios y transformaciones digitales sin contar con ellos. Nosotros vamos a contar con ellos como parte, además, de nuestra política de inclusión y diversidad, como también vamos a contar con emprendedores y jóvenes “<strong>millenials</strong>”.</p>\r\n
\r\n
<p>En estos años, como Club, hemos vivido muchos cambios y algunas transformaciones de largo alcance. Y en algún caso, hemos tenido el privilegio de <strong>adelantarnos al futuro</strong>. Hace 30 años, en 1.991, nadie se planteaba reformar el capitalismo. Más bien todos consideraban, con razón, que había que aumentar la eficacia y eficiencia de las organizaciones y empresas para hacerlas más productivas y competitivas. Y para ello, en Europa, 14 multinacionales (Bosch, BT, Fiat, KLM, Nestlé, Philips, Renault, Volkswagen,…) se juntaron para diseñar un modelo que permitiera competir en calidad y precio frente a los norteamericanos y los japoneses, las potencias económicas dominantes de entonces. Previamente, crearon la <strong><em>European Foundation for Quality Management</em> (EFQM)</strong>, con sede en Bruselas, con quien el Club tiene una alianza y un vínculo especial desde el origen de ambas instituciones. En ese Modelo EFQM original estaban ya “el diseño y los planos” de la reforma que hoy se le pide al capitalismo: poner de manifiesto que los accionistas, inversores, propietarios no eran el único grupo de interés, ni necesariamente el más importante. Y por ello, en el Modelo original se asignan la mitad de los puntos (sobre 1.000) a los resultados que se consiguen para los clientes, para las personas que trabajan en la organización, para la sociedad que se ve impactada por las actividades de la organización y, finalmente, para los accionistas / inversores / propietarios. De esta manera, Europa se adelantó 30 años, con la EFQM a la cabeza, a la declaración que este pasado verano han hecho desde la <em>Business Roundtable</em> estadounidense (Amazon, Oracle, Walmart, John Deere,…) en el sentido de dar protagonismo en las empresas a las demás partes interesadas: personas, clientes, proveedores y sociedad.</p>\r\n

<p>Esta <strong>reforma del capitalismo</strong> que la EFQM, a través de su Modelo, lleva promoviendo desde hace 30 años se acentúa en la reinvención de esta herramienta acometida en 2020. Ahora, el Modelo EFQM, no sólo da el protagonismo que le corresponde, a cada grupo de interés, dependiendo del sector, tamaño y zona geográfica en que la organización desarrolle su actividad, sino que se busca desde el principio la formulación de un propósito de la organización que describa cómo beneficiará a la sociedad, pero no en genérico, si no con medidas y actuaciones concretas en <strong>inclusión</strong>, en <strong>igualdad de trato</strong> y remuneración de hombres y mujeres, en <strong>diversidad</strong>, en contar con “silvers” y “millenials”. Por tanto, es un Modelo con una fuerte corriente centrípeta alrededor de las personas.</p>\r\n
\r\n
<p>También se sugiere a la organización que alinee sus estrategias de sostenibilidad con los <strong>ODS</strong> y las estrategias de dirección con códigos de <strong>buen gobierno corporativo</strong>, en sintonía también, con la necesaria reforma del capitalismo. Y, por lo tanto, que además de la cuenta de resultados reporte sus resultados en ESG (<em>Environment, Social and Governance</em>). Incluyendo indicadores para aspectos ambientales como emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero, residuos y contaminación, uso de agua y uso de tierra; para aspectos sociales, indicadores como diversidad e inclusión en la fuerza de trabajo, gestión de la seguridad, compromiso con las comunidades; y para aspectos de gobierno, indicadores como estructura de gobierno y supervisión, códigos y valores, transparencia y presentación de informes y gestión de la ciberseguridad.</p>\r\n
\r\n
<p>Este Modelo reinventado ha demostrado, además, una interesante <strong>resiliencia</strong>. Ha aguantado, desde sus orígenes, los embistes de, por ejemplo, aquellos que vieron el Cuadro de Mando Integral, de Kaplan y Norton, como un ataque, en lugar de un complemento. Ha mantenido el tipo con los fundamentalistas de la gestión de procesos o de proyectos, de la planificación estratégica, los del <em>customer centricity</em> (“La orientación actual al mercado y a satisfacer las necesidades de los clientes es necesaria, pero en ocasiones no suficiente” Carlos Agulló, Catedrático ETSII, UPM) o los defensores a ultranza de la Calidad Total, de Lean, de Seis Sigma o de otros estupendos programas de mejora. El Modelo reinventado es una <strong>herramienta para los problemas de gestión actuales</strong>, que son más volátiles, inciertos, complejos y ambiguos, que los de etapas anteriores. Por eso, frente al Modelo EFQM muchas de las prácticas, teorías, ideas y estrategias han quedado invalidadas o incompletas.</p>\r\n
\r\n
<p>Y, es que, el Modelo EFQM tiene un alto nivel de <strong>universalidad</strong> como herramienta para diseñar y gestionar sistemas de gestión sobresalientes, en términos de resultados, para el mundo de hoy.
