<p style="text-align: justify;">Tras haber superado con éxito un exhaustivo proceso de evaluación externa de acuerdo a los criterios del Modelo EFQM de Excelencia, la<strong> Universidad de Cádiz</strong> ha recibido los sellos de Excelencia Europea 400+ y 500+ a su área de Deportes. En un acto celebrado el pasado 7 de julio y enmarcado en la IX Jornada de difusión de la mejora de la calidad de los servicios que presta el Personal de Administración y Servicios (PAS), organizada por el área de Personal de la Gerencia de la UCA. En donde el rector de la UCA, <strong>Eduardo González Mazo</strong>, recogió de la mano del secretario General del Club Excelencia en Gestión, <strong>Ignacio Babé</strong>\u{A0}y del director Regional de Bureau Veritas, <strong>Francisco Martín-Santamaría</strong>, los sellos en el Campus de Jerez.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Eduardo González Mazo ha dado la enhorabuena a todas y cada una de las personas que han participado y se han involucrado en este reconocimiento, resaltando que "entre todos hemos conseguido que la UCA acuda en bloque a este sello de Excelencia, que se estén haciendo las cosas bien para seguir adelante, ahora, en el camino hacia el 500+".</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Por otra parte, Martín-Santamaría indicó que "el Modelo EFQM es un estándar a nivel internacional de referencia y está posicionado como uno de los parámetros más exigentes que hay en la actualidad para evaluar el desempeño de las organizaciones.\u{A0} Actos como el que hoy celebramos, son una muestra más de la concienciación por parte de la Universidad de Cádiz de la necesidad de aplicar criterios de Calidad y Excelencia".\u{A0}</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">La Universidad de Cádiz entra así a formar parte del selecto grupo de instituciones universitarias que se gestionan con criterios de excelencia. En la actualidad, sólo las universidades de Jaén, Internacional de Andalucía, Valladolid, Barcelona y Universidad Europea de Madrid están en posesión de este Sello de Excelencia.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Los evaluadores han constatado la evolución experimentada en el uso del Modelo como referente de la gestión en ámbitos más específicos hacia un enfoque global, más integrado y homogéneo, para toda la institución. \u{A0}Así, la Universidad de Cádiz, que ya contaba con reconocimientos de este tipo para servicios y unidades como Biblioteca, Deportes, Extensión Cultural y la Unidad de Calidad y Evaluación, añade ahora el reconocimiento a la gestión del conjunto de las Unidades Administrativas, y en el caso del área de Deportes, con un logro más al aprobar el nivel 500+ al igual que hiciera hace unos años la Biblioteca de la UCA.</p>\n
