<p style="text-align: justify;">El Ayuntamiento de Alcobendas, Embajador de la Excelencia Europea y socio del CEG, ha celebrado\u{A0}el Premio Europeo EFQM con la <strong>Jornada Excelentes</strong>, celebrada el pasado 24 de noviembre. Un evento al que acudieron la presidenta de la Comunidad de Madrid, Cristina Cifuentes, los alcaldes de Alcorcón, Tres Cantos, San Agustín de Guadalix, Sevilla La Nueva, Zumárraga, directivos de empresas como Red Eléctrica y El Corte Inglés, representantes de AENOR, los concejales de la Corporación municipal, el presidente de la patronal local AICA, Ignacio Babé, Secretario General del CEG y Mercedes Hernández, Directora de Vida Asociativa del CEG, así como numerosos empleados del consistorio.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">El Premio Europeo EFQM es un "reconocimiento a un trabajo de fondo" logrado a base de planificación estratégica y de sostenibilidad, quiso resaltar el alcalde de Alcobendas.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Por su arte, la presidenta madrileña Cristina Cifuentes aseguró que “el Ayuntamiento de Alcobendas es un ejemplo de gestión a seguir por todas las administraciones públicas de la región y de España”, un modelo que ha generado “riqueza, bienestar y empleo, y reconocido por sus ciudadanos”. Cifuentes ha dado la enhorabuena al alcalde y a todos los ciudadanos por este premio, fruto de un trabajo logrado a base de hacer más con menos, “todos los que estamos al frente de las Administraciones tenemos que hacer más con menos, con austeridad pero con excelencia”.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Además, el alcalde de Alcobendas, Ignacio García de Vinuesa, manifestó que “este premio es un reconocimiento a un trabajo de fondo logrado por el equipo que formamos junto a los profesionales del Ayuntamiento y su enorme vocación por el servicio público” y ha añadido que las ‘obsesiones’ de Alcobendas son “la planificación estratégica y la sostenibilidad, que se traducen en inversión en herramientas de gestión, las alianzas público-privadas, la inversión en tecnología y el talento de los empleados públicos”.<br /> García de Vinuesa confesó que solo el hecho de presentarse a este galardón ya es premio para el Ayuntamiento, porque suponía demostrar que “estábamos en plena forma y que nos habíamos preparado enormemente para el examen de los siete auditores; hemos aprendido mucho y vamos a seguir aprendiendo mucho”.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Tras la presentación de la jornada, se celebró una <strong>mesa redonda con los alcaldes</strong> de Zumárraga, Tres Cantos y San Agustín de Guadalix, Mikel Serrano, Jesús Moreno y Juan Figueroa, respectivamente, y el alcalde anfitrión García de Vinuesa sobre el futuro de las Administraciones Públicas.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">En esta mesa los regidores reconocieron que trabajan ya en la planificación para llegar un día a la excelencia de Alcobendas y ofrecer más y mejores servicios públicos a sus vecinos. Para Mikel Serrano la planificación en su ciudad, de 10.000 habitantes, será fundamental y “la gran apuesta será ofrecer servicios de calidad, con excelencia, en el día a día, haciendo de la necesidad una virtud” por la bajada de ingresos tras la marcha de ArcelorMittal. Jesús Moreno ha reconocido que los ayuntamientos son una gran empresa de prestación de servicios, como había señalado el alcalde de Alcobendas, y que “el reto pasa por la modernización para ser más ágiles, con menos burocracia y papelo y mayor participación ciudadana”. Y Juan Figueroa ha insistido en que los ayuntamientos deben trabajar con “mayor gestión y planificación para conseguir la excelencia en los sercicios que prestan”.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Otro de los platos fuertes de esta jornada ha sido la mesa redonda en la que se ha hablado de <strong>'La colaboración público-privada: una necesidad en las organizaciones excelentes'</strong> con la participación de nuestro Secretario General, Ignacio Babé que estuvo acompañad por representantes de la Asociación Española para la Calidad, la Fundación Iberoamericana para la Gestión de Calidad, Bureau Veritas, la Agencia de Evaluación y Calidad de los Servicios y del Hospital Universitario Infanta Elena.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">El punto más desenfadado de esta jornada lo puso el cómico, actor, showman y 'feliciólogo' Ángel Rielo con la conferencia 'Humor en clave de excelencia'.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">La Jornada Excelentes finalizó con la entrega al centenar de profesionales del Ayuntamiento de Alcobendas de un diploma que reconoce su participación en la defensa del Premio Europeo EFQM que logró el 29 de septiembre en Milán.</p>\n
