<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Marca España</strong> y el Consejo General de Colegios Oficiales de Farmacéutico han firmado un acuerdo de colaboración para la difusión internacional de la excelencia del modelo farmacéutico español. El convenio, hecho público en el marco de la jornada de Farmacia Latina que se celebró ayer en Palma de Mallorca, tendrá una vigencia de dos años prorrogables.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">El objetivo del acuerdo es el impulso de iniciativas y actividades conjuntas que contribuyan a dar a conocer en el exterior el servicio sanitario prestado por las farmacias españolas, su modelo de colaboración con el Sistema Nacional de Salud y el nivel de servicio asistencial y de mejora de la salud pública que proporcionan a la población.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Nuestro sistema farmacéutico es un ejemplo para muchos países por su innovación, calidad y cercanía a la sociedad. Pionero en la implantación de la receta electrónica, el modelo español facilita la conexión e interoperabilidad entre todos los puntos de la atención sanitaria. \u{A0}El modelo de funcionamiento de la farmacia española se considera como\u{A0}uno de los mejores del mundo, y ayuda a que nuestro Sistema Nacional de Salud esté en la\u{A0}séptima posición<strong>\u{A0}</strong>de la\u{A0}Organización Mundial de la Salud\u{A0}y sea distinguido por su excelencia y universalidad.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">El Alto Comisionado para la Marca España, Carlos Espinosa de los Monteros, destacó en la presentación del acuerdo el servicio prestado por las farmacias españolas y el papel que juegan “dentro de nuestro sistema sanitario, uno de los mejores del mundo”. Por su parte, el presidente del Consejo General de Farmacéuticos, Jesús Aguilar, ha agradecido a Marca España el reconocimiento a la labor que realizan las farmacias, al que responderán “aportando todos sus valores -confianza, profesionalidad y cercanía- en la proyección exterior de España, un gran modelo de farmacia para un gran país”.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Según recoge el convenio, el Consejo General de Colegios Oficiales de Farmacéuticos asesorará a Marca España en el ámbito del medicamento, productos sanitarios y promoción de la salud pública a través de las farmacias. Marca España, por su parte, ofrecerá al Consejo General de Farmacéuticos la posibilidad de participar activamente en las iniciativas que ponga en marcha que por su interés estén alineadas con el modelo de farmacia español.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Una de las profesiones más valoradas</strong></p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">De acuerdo con algunas encuestas, los farmacéuticos se encuentran en la\u{A0}tercera posición\u{A0}del ranking de los profesionales más valorados. Y no es para menos, ya que, con cerca de<strong>\u{A0}</strong>2,3 millones de clientes\u{A0}diarios, las reclamaciones que las organizaciones de consumidores reciben de las farmacias representan tan solo el\u{A0}0,27%, o lo que es lo mismo, el\u{A0}0,04% del total\u{A0}de las apelaciones.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">España es uno de los países europeos que\u{A0}más farmacias tiene por persona. El 99% de la población dispone de un establecimiento cerca de su residencia, y aproximadamente\u{A0}uno de cada cuatro están ubicados en el medio rural, de los cuales\u{A0}2.089 se encuentran situados\u{A0}en localidades de menos de 1.000 habitantes.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">A ello hay que añadir su constante\u{A0}servicio de guardia, que establece un número de farmacias que atienden las urgencias de toda la población española\u{A0}durante las 24 horas del día los 365 días del año.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Para desempeñar su cometido, el sector cuenta con una amplia plantilla de\u{A0}80.000 profesionales, de los cuales\u{A0}47.000 son farmacéuticos, que están repartidos a lo largo de una red asistencial de\u{A0}21.854 farmacias\u{A0}comunitarias. Un tejido sanitario que se completa con 261 hospitales con servicio de farmacia, 3.053 centros de salud y 10.144 consultorios locales.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">La estabilidad es uno de los grandes factores de la profesión con un\u{A0}91% de contratos indefinidos.\u{A0}Asimismo, sobresale una alta tasa de personal cualificado, ya que el 59% de los trabajadores son licenciados. O, mejor dicho, licenciadas porque\u{A0}el 74% de los farmacéuticos son mujeres. Además, un 51,5% de todos los profesionales de farmacia son menores de 44 años.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Más de 182 millones de consejos anuales</strong></p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Además de la adquisición, custodia, conservación y dispensación de medicamentos, productos sanitarios y de parafarmacia, los farmacéuticos españoles también llevan a cabo un amplio abanico de\u{A0}actividades enfocadas a la prevención sanitaria. Y es que el consorcio de farmacias español organiza anualmente diversas\u{A0}campañas\u{A0}publicitarias\u{A0}dirigidas a la población y organizadas conjuntamente con las Administraciones Públicas.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Destacan además los\u{A0}más de 182 millones de consejos sanitarios\u{A0}ajenos a la dispensación médica que los profesionales de las boticas ofrecen al año. Algo así como decir que uno de cada tres españoles que entran en una farmacia reciben, en vez de un medicamento, una recomendación sanitaria. Una circunstancia que parece trivial pero cuyo valor equivale\u{A0}a un ahorro de 1.700 millones de euros\u{A0}al Sistema Sanitario.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>La receta electrónica, su último reto</strong></p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">En la actualidad, el sistema farmacéutico se está viendo reforzado por el cada vez más extendido uso de la<strong>\u{A0}</strong>receta electrónica\u{A0}y la interoperabilidad entre las distintas comunidades autónomas de España. Un método cuya base se centra en la<strong>\u{A0}</strong>sincronización informática entre los centros de salud y las farmacias, haciendo la vida más fácil tanto a los convalecientes como a los médicos y farmacéuticos.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Su objetivo final es que los usuarios puedan adquirir sus medicamentos prescritos\u{A0}en cualquier farmacia del territorio nacional. Al mismo tiempo, los enfermos crónicos ya no tienen la obligación de acudir a su médico de cabecera para conseguir nuevas recetas, reduciendo la carga asistencial diaria de los facultativos y beneficiando una tramitación mucho más sencilla en las farmacias.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Por el momento, el programa aún se encuentra en su fase inicial y se aplica en Canarias, Navarra, Castilla-La Mancha y Extremadura, donde ofrecen prescripción electrónica de recetas interoperables. No obstante, se espera que el resto de regiones se vaya incorporando gradualmente a esta tecnología. Si se cumplen las previsiones, Galicia, Murcia, Andalucía, Asturias, Cantabria, Baleares y La Rioja se unirán a la estructura a lo largo de 2017.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Este sistema ya ha traspasado nuestras fronteras y así, miembros del\u{A0}Instituto Nacional de Investigación sobre Poblaciones y Seguridad Social de Japón\u{A0}han visitado diversos centros de salud de Sevilla para conocer de primera mano\u{A0}el sistema sanitario español y su estrategia digital.\u{A0}Y más concretamente, el procedimiento de prescripción y dispensación electrónica, un método que está estudiando el gobierno del país asiático.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Por otra parte, España tiene uno de los precios farmacéuticos más bajos de toda la\u{A0}Unión Europea. Específicamente, el coste medio de los medicamentos españoles es\u{A0}el\u{A0}sexto más barato de los 19 países de la zona euro, siendo solo superado por Portugal, Eslovaquia, Estonia, Letonia y Lituania.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">A ello se le debe unir el\u{A0}descenso del gasto medio por receta. Según datos de la industria farmacéutica española, en 2009 cada ciudadano desembolsaba unos 13,39 euros, mientras que en 2015 ese abono se ha rebajado hasta los\u{A0}10,81 euros, una reducción del 19,3%. Una cantidad que incluso supera registros de hace casi dos décadas cuando en 1999 los españoles invertían una media de 10,98 euros por receta.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">La farmacia española goza de\u{A0}un estado de salud envidiable. Ahora, su nuevo desafío se centra en seguir evolucionando hacia\u{A0}un sistema cada vez más asistencial y de servicios, y donde la receta electrónica desempeñará un papel trascendental. Un cambio que requiere de la actuación de agentes externos y que llevará consigo una transformación paulatina de la propia profesión.</p>\n
