<p style="text-align: justify;">Héctor Robles, Fundador y CEO de la consultora de innovación y transformación DOMO, colaboradora del Club Excelencia en Gestión, ha dirigido recientemente el Taller sobre <strong>creatividad para la empresa</strong> y colaborará con el Club en el próximo Encuentro de representantes que se celebrará en diciembre con esta temática.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>• ¿Por qué debemos pensar que es tan decisiva la creatividad?</strong></p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">El objetivo de los talleres y de la reunión de representantes es descubrir la creatividad a la gente de la empresa porque creemos que <strong>la creatividad es una de las habilidades clave para las empresas hoy en día. </strong>Concretamente, de acuerdo con estudios presentados en foros como el World Economic Forum, la creatividad está la tercera en importancia dentro del top ten. Pero es que la primera y la segunda son resolución de problemas complejos y pensamiento crítico. Todo relacionado, al fin y al cabo, con la creatividad.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Creemos que la creatividad es clave y vamos a ver de qué va. Hay que olvidar la idea de que no tiene nada que ver con el management porque se han creado un montón de mitos y prejuicios, y no ha sido tomada como <strong>una habilidad de alto nivel en la empresa.</strong> Espero que nuestros talleres sirvan también para tener claro que <strong>el pensamiento crítico y la resolución de problemas son pura creatividad.</strong> Enseñamos que <strong>para que haya creatividad tiene que haber un reto</strong> y para que haya un reto hay que saber cuestionar, hay que ser crítico. El cuestionamiento está asociado con la creatividad.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>• ¿Algunos consejos concretos?</strong></p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Cuestiónate tanto el reto como la solución, aplaza el juicio, cuenta hasta 3 antes de dar tu opinión sobre una idea, cambia tu rutina cada día, etc. Hay muchas claves para explotar tu creatividad y la de tus equipos. En nuestras actividades de formación se viven varias de ellas.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>La creatividad es algo muy holístico y también tiene lado racional y estructural.</strong> No solo se trata de tener ideas, también hay que definir correctamente tu reto, evaluar las ideas, etc. Si no defines bien tu reto, por ejemplo, has empezado un camino con mucho coste y bajo retorno. Por ello, hay que cuestionar el reto y comprobar si es adecuado. Por ejemplo recuerdo una empresa que tenía la firme convicción de que su producto era muy bueno y que, simplemente, no lo comunicaban bien. Entonces, en su momento, cuestionamos el reto de mejorar la comunicación para plantearnos: ¿Y si vuestro producto no fuese bueno? Porque, si creo que algo es bueno no me fijo en cómo mejorarlo. A partir de ahí se les abrió un mundo de mejoras y oportunidades, que a día de hoy están aprovechando.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>• ¿Es muy valiosa la disrupción?</strong></p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Está muy cuestionada porque provoca miedo (“¿Sabré ser yo disruptivo?”), pero <strong>la disrupción bien gestionada es muy poderosa.</strong></p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>• ¿Qué queréis conseguir en estos talleres?</strong></p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Que los asistentes vivan algunos conceptos teóricos de la creatividad y que se lleven como conclusiones que <strong>la creatividad es eficaz y eficiente, que aporta resultados a la empresa y que es algo que se puede aprender dentro de ella.</strong></p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>• En ocasiones habláis de “darse permiso”, como herramienta para conseguir la creatividad.</strong></p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Te puedes dar muchos permisos. Por ejemplo, a cuestionarte, a probar cosas nuevas, a errar, a mostrarte vulnerable ante los demás, a divertirte...</strong> Todo esto es fundamental para mejorar los resultados de tu organización. Creo que en este sentido algo está cambiando en la alta dirección. Es un momento adecuado, <strong>es el momento de la transformación cultural de las organizaciones.</strong> El que unos chavales con vaqueros y camisetas estén creando empresas que están haciendo tambalear a los grandes dinosaurios, con una manera de actuar penalizada en esas grandes corporaciones, está ayudando a cambiar la mentalidad de las mismas y a consolidar todo este movimiento de transformación cultural.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>• ¿Hasta dónde debe llevarse la creatividad para mantener compacta una organización?</strong></p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>La creatividad tiene un proceso que encaja con cualquier otro dentro de la empresa, incluidos los procesos de calidad o excelencia. No descalabra nada. Es un proceso estructurado.</strong> Cierto es que hay que hacer ajustes en cuanto al quiénes, cuándo y dónde la creatividad. Pensar que la creatividad es más apropiada para algunos departamentos como marketing o innovación, por ejemplo, es “matar” la creatividad del resto de la compañía. Además incluir a personas interdepartamentales en un proceso creativo ayuda a la cohesión y a deshacer silos. Por otro lado hay que reservar momentos específicos para trabajar la creatividad, como por ejemplo tener sesiones de generación de ideas. Conocemos directivos que piensan que eso sería añadir tiempo a un proyecto, nosotros demostramos que lo ahorra. Además las ideas no vienen justo cuando tú quieres. Hay trabajadores obcecados con un horario y un fin de semana pero si tienes una idea el fin de semana cuando estás jugando con tu hijo, deberías tener un sistema para recogerla y que no se pierda, porque igual ahí está la “gran idea”. El mundo está cambiando más rápido que la legislación y que muchas personas. Por último está el espacio. No se trata tanto de hacer espacios chulos como de entender que el cambio de espacios y el movimiento son más importantes a la hora de tener o evaluar ideas. Por ejemplo, tener una reunión en una cafetería o hacerla caminando puede ser más productivo que hacerla en el espacio “supermolón” que tiene tu empresa si siempre estás en él, y además no corres el riesgo de salir con un dolor de riñones. Conviene salir de la zona de confort (tu espacio habitual) para generar nuevos estímulos y nuevos puntos de vista.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>• ¿Todos los talentos son creativos?</strong></p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Hoy se busca atraer y retener el talento. El talento está de moda. Que cada persona ponga lo mejor de sí mismo en la empresa es lo deseable. Hay una cosa en común a todos los talentos y es que todos deseamos utilizar nuestra creatividad para aportar algo. Maslow ya situaba la creatividad en la parte más alta de su pirámide, la autorrealización, la que contribuye con más fuerza a la motivación, que es lo que guía a las personas que aprovechan su talento. <strong>La clave para atraer talento es tener una cultura auténtica, clara e identificada y la otra es que en tu cultura incorpore la creatividad en el ADN.</strong> Todo esto lo hemos incorporado en el Manifiesto Honest Strategy, que da nombre al movimiento que busca esta nueva manera de “ser empresa”. Una lectura imprescindible sobre talento y creatividad es “El elemento” de Ken Robinson. La otra opción, compatible, es asistir a nuestros talleres de formación en creatividad para la empresa.</p>\n
