<p>El alcalde de Valdemoro, Serafín Faraldos, ha recibido el certificado correspondiente al Sello de Excelencia Europea EFQM 300+ que ha concedido al Área de Formación, Empleo y Comercio del Ayuntamiento el Club Excelencia en Gestión, como representante oficial en España de la Fundación Europea para la Gestión de la Calidad (EFQM).</p>\r\n

<p>El primer edil ha recibido el galardón de manos del Presidente de Cámara Madrid, Juan López-Belmonte en el transcurso de un acto celebrado en el Palacio de Santoña en Madrid, al que también ha asistido el primer teniente de alcalde del Consistorio, Santiago Fernández y por parte del Club Excelencia en Gestión, la directora de Vida Asociativa, Mercedes Hernández.</p>\r\n

<p>El proceso de evaluación, realizado por Cámara Certifica, entidad acreditada por el Club Excelencia en Gestión en la concesión de los Sellos de Excelencia Europea EFQM, ha constatado que el Área de Empleo, Formación y Comercio del Ayuntamiento de Valdemoro cumple con los criterios objetivos que le han permitido mejorar su puntuación respecto a evaluaciones anteriores.</p>\r\n

<p>Cabe destacar el compromiso más que evidente que este Ayuntamiento tiene con la calidad y con la mejora continua en la prestación de un mejor servicio que se refleja, según recoge la memoria, en los índices de satisfacción de la ciudadanía; también en el incremento del número de destinatarios que han conseguido su inserción en el mundo laboral a través de la Agencia de Colocación y de acuerdos con empresas para llevar a cabo prácticas laborales. Se avala también la buena gestión del Consistorio en cuanto a las acciones y propuestas destinadas a dinamizar el sector del comercio local y reconoce el trabajo y compromiso de sus trabajadores.</p>\r\n

<p>Para Mercedes Hernández, directora de Vida Asociativa del Club Excelencia en Gestión, “una de nuestras actividades más importantes es reconocer a aquellas organizaciones que están trabajando para mejorar su sistema de gestión y con ese objetivo se puso en marcha, hace ya más de 15 años, el Sello de Excelencia Europea basado en el Modelo EFQM. El sector público se ha sumado a la apuesta por la Excelencia y los premios y reconocimientos que se están otorgando últimamente así lo demuestran. Actualmente son 18 las Administraciones y Entidades Públicas que tienen un Sello de Excelencia EFQM, entre las que está el Área de Formación, Empleo y Comercio del Ayuntamiento de Valdemoro que ha puesto su foco en la mejora de la atención a sus ciudadanos “.</p>\r\n

<p><strong>Compromiso con la excelencia</strong></p>\r\n

<p>El Ayuntamiento de Valdemoro adoptó el Modelo EFQM en el año 2006 y desde entonces ha trabajado para mantener una tendencia positiva y sostenida en el tiempo en la puntuación del nivel de excelencia de las autoevaluaciones. Tras superar los objetivos marcados en los sucesivos planes de mejora, obtuvo en 2013 y 2015 el reconocimiento del Compromiso a la Excelencia y, finalmente este año 2017 el Sello de Excelencia Europea EFQM 300+.</p>\r\n

<p>La concesión de este reconocimiento de calidad para el alcalde, Serafín Faraldos “viene a reconocer un trabajo intenso por el empleo en Valdemoro. Desde el Ayuntamiento hacemos un gran esfuerzo de intermediación entre las empresas demandantes de empleo radicadas en nuestra localidad y municipios vecinos y aquellos ciudadanos y ciudadanas que precisan de un trabajo. Hacemos también un ejercicio de realidad al poner a su disposición una formación adecuada a los empleos demandados”.</p>\r\n

<p>Entre las funciones que tiene el Área de Formación, Empleo y Comercio destaca el diseño de programas e iniciativas de desarrollo socio-económico para impulsar la formación, la intermediación laboral o las iniciativas de emprendimiento. Así, informa, diseña y pone en marcha programas de formación para el empleo, para adecuar las capacidades de la población activa de Valdemoro a las necesidades del mercado de trabajo y para apoyar la mejora de la competitividad de las empresas. Sin ánimo de lucro, pone en contacto a través de la Agencia de Colocación a empresas y desempleados o a quienes buscan una mejora de trabajo y establece convenios de colaboración con empresas de su entorno geográfico así como con otras administraciones públicas para fomentar el empleo en el municipio.</p>\r\n

\r\n
<p>La actividad de la Agencia de Colocación y las políticas que desarrolla la concejalía de Comercio, Industria, Trabajo e Innovación Tecnológica del Ayuntamiento a la que pertenece, ayudan a situar a Valdemoro entre las localidades con un índice de desempleo por debajo de la media de los municipios de la Zona Sur de Madrid.</p>\r\n

<p>El comercio es uno de los sectores que más trabajo genera y por ello el Consistorio organiza cursos de formación y jornadas dirigidas a los empresarios y trabajadores del ramo y también de la hostelería además de poner en marcha numerosas campañas de promoción a lo largo del año para incrementar las ventas.</p>\r\n
