<p>Mercedes Hernández, Directora de Vida Asociativa del Club Excelencia en Gestión, e Inmaculada García, Directora de <a href="https://www.aenor.com/" target="_blank">AENOR</a> en Castilla y León, han hecho entrega del reconocimiento a Juan Francisco Seco, Director Gerente del Hospital San Juan de Dios de Burgos. El acto se ha celebrado en la capilla del Hospital, coincidiendo además con la celebración del día de su patrón. En esta ocasión, el Club Excelencia en Gestión ha podido no solo renovar un Sello de Excelencia, sino que también le ha otorgado al Hospital un nivel más de reconocimiento al pasar del Sello de Excelencia EFQM 300+ al 400+.</p>\r\n

<p>El Sello ha sido concedido de manera conjunta por el Club de Excelencia en Gestión, el único representante para la EFQM en España y por <a href="https://www.aenor.com/" target="_blank">AENOR</a>, que es la entidad que ha realizado la evaluación externa junto al Club, pasando de este modo el Hospital a formar parte del pequeño grupo de organizaciones sanitarias que son consideradas excelentes, tanto por su trabajo actual como por la posibilidad que tienen de seguir mejorando.</p>\r\n
\r\n
<p>La autoevaluación basada en el <strong>Modelo europeo EFQM</strong> de Excelencia ha tenido en cuenta nueve parámetros que estudian, por un lado, qué hace la organización y cómo lo hace y, por otro, qué resultados ha obtenido en su relación con sus grupos de interés y en el cumplimiento del plan estratégico.</p>\r\n
\r\n
<p>Con la entrega del sello de calidad EFQM 400+, AENOR y el Club han reconocido el prestigio, la experiencia y la calidad del centro sanitario burgalés en la atención a los pacientes crónicos, paliativos y pluripatológicos. En la auditoría se ha analizado pormenorizadamente la actividad de hospitalización para este tipo de pacientes complejos y se han puesto en valor los buenos resultados e indicadores conseguidos, tanto en la salud de los pacientes como en las encuestas de satisfacción durante los últimos cuatro años.</p>\r\n

<p>Este Sello ha querido también destacar la profesionalidad de los trabajadores y colaboradores del Hospital; <strong>el trabajo de un equipo multidisciplinar de profesionales sanitarios y no sanitarios, y la eficiencia, seguridad clínica y calidad de todo el proceso asistencial</strong>.</p>\r\n

<p>Juan Francisco Seco, Director Gerente del Hospital, ha mostrado su agradecimiento a AENOR y al Club “por habernos otorgado en la última auditoría, realizada en el pasado mes de diciembre, el nivel 400+ en el sistema de gestión calidad EFQM. Para nosotros sois ya unos aliados que nos ayudáis en nuestro proceso de mejora continua. Llevamos trabajando juntos desde hace muchos años y, tanto vosotros como vuestros profesionales, nos habéis transmitido mucha información, consejos, áreas y propuestas de mejora que se han visto recompensados hoy con esta distinción”.</p>\r\n
