<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>La Universidad española evoluciona a un cambio en la gestión que implicará pasar de la garantía interna a la acreditación institucional, camina hacia la competitividad y apuesta por la excelencia con recursos propios, un entorno próximo para el que estar preparado.</strong> Por ello, las universidades socias del Club Excelencia en Gestión trabajan en esta dirección y se reúnen el próximo 22 de septiembre en la Asamblea General del Foro de Universidades en la Universidad Pontificia de Comillas. Se trata de un encuentro exclusivo para las universidades socias del CEG, que analizará los resultados de las diferentes actuaciones desarrolladas por parte del equipo de coordinación a lo largo de este último año, con especial atención en los avances del proyecto sobre el Modelo Global que incorporará AUDIT y Modelo EFQM. Será una ocasión también para tratar nuevos enfoques para el Foro, para desarrollar un nuevo enfoque que mejore su aporte de valor siempre con la vocación por una gestión sostenible y orientada a resultados excelentes.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Alfonso Davalillo, Director del Servicio de Calidad y Evaluación institucional de la Universidad del País Vasco, coordina este Foro y hace un balance del año transcurrido concretado en la convocatoria de buenas prácticas en Calidad y Excelencia en gestión universitaria (Red Telescopi), premio a las buenas prácticas en gestión universitaria, ciclo de webinars y grupo de trabajo del modelo de gestión global.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>¿Qué aportan en este momento las universidades del Club al sector educativo?</strong></p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">A lo largo de los próximos años las universidades y sus centros deberán realizar un profundo cambio en la gestión interna definiendo lo que en el entorno universitario son los Sistemas de Garantía de Calidad de las instituciones universitarias. Hasta el momento lo que ha sido obligatorio en las universidades es a disponer de un sistema de garantía interno de calidad a nivel de titulaciones que garantice la acreditación de las mismas a un coste insostenible. En los próximos años y tras la publicación del RD 420/2015 <strong>iremos caminando hacia una acreditación institucional los que redundará a medio plazo en una mejora sustancial del mundo universitario.</strong> No podemos olvidar que hay pocos sectores en los que dispongamos de una batería de indicadores establecidos y que presentan comparaciones entre todas las universidades. Está claro que vamos caminando hacia la competitividad en el sector universitario y esto, a la larga, traerá beneficios a este sector. Las universidades del Club ya se están posicionando y están definiendo, perfilando e implantando sus sistemas de gestión tanto a nivel de centros como de la propia universidad para adaptarse a lo que viene y estimo que estarán mejor preparadas que las que esperen a que todo esto venga por decreto.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>¿Qué percibes entre las universidades socias como principales inquietudes para "remover" las universidades y avanzar en la Excelencia?</strong></p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Las universidades son organizaciones muy grandes y por desgracia muy poco conocidas por el gran público y a veces las referencias que de ellas se tiene están ligada a las vivencias como alumnado que en ellas han tenido las personas que están opinando.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">Hoy en día el sector universitario está cambiando mucho, no sólo porque lleva introduciendo innovación e innovación de calidad en uno de sus principales pilares fundamentales que es la docencia, y no sólo porque, a pesar de las políticas de investigación está manteniendo unos niveles de investigación contrastada a nivel internacional, sino porque a estos tres pilares le está añadiendo uno que la gestión basada en modelos de excelencia a nivel global de la universidad y lo está haciendo con recursos propios y en muchos casos sin la comprensión de sectores que influyen y mucho en la vida universitaria.</p>\n
<p style="text-align: justify;">En la Jornada del 22 de septiembre, la puesta al día de los contenidos que interesan a la comunidad universitaria del Club Excelencia en Gestión correrá a cargo de Antonio Obregón, Vicerrector de Ordenación Académica y Profesorado de la Universidad Pontificia de Comillas; Mercedes Hernández, Directora de Vida Asociativa del Club Excelencia en Gestión; Alfonso Davalillo, Coordinador del Foro de Universidades y Director del Servicio de Calidad y Evaluación Institucional de la Universidad del País Vasco; Juan Pedro Montañés, Director de la Unidad de Calidad y Prospectiva, y Miquel Romero, Director de Socios y Conocimiento del Club Excelencia en Gestión.</p>\n
